The French-Danish mix remained cool despite facing a 7-15 deficit. Vitality's new squad continues to impress at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022, completing an impressive comeback against FaZe to secure a spot in the Group C final. This victory comes just a few hours after Vitality's quick dispatching of Evil Geniuses on the opening match of the group. FaZe had seemingly sealed the deal after securing match point at 15-7, but Danny "zonic" Sørensen's Vitality maintained their composure, stringing together eight rounds in a row to force overtime. ![]() As usual, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut topped the scoreboard for Vitality, but this time he had his new teammate Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen right behind him. The Danish rifler came alive on the CT side, finding several impact frags and multi-kills to stop FaZe in their tracks. Despite Håvard "rain" Nygaard's best efforts, the International squad ran out of steam on the offensive side and were unable to crack a dent in Vitality's defense despite eight chances to close out the game. Robin "ropz" Kool was unable to carry his form from the previous game against Liquid, while Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and captain Finn "karrigan" Andersen struggled to get going on the offense. FaZe have now been relegated to the lower bracket where they will face the winner of Evil Geniuses vs Liquid at 20:15 for a chance to earn a rematch against Vitality.
